What I Do
I enjoy taking on challenges in web and mobile by developing technically precise and visually pleasing designs for screens, user interfaces and products. I also appreciate the effort it takes to make something intuitively useful beyond simple aesthetics.
I'm equally good at creating final graphic assets for a GUI as wireframing and prototyping an interface. I'm just as comfortable coding XHTML and CSS as designing comps. And I love both creating a brand from scratch as well as making an existing one more cohesive.
UX Design
- I ♥ designing user experiences for:
- desktop/mobile apps and user interfaces
- website designs and web applications
- brand identity pieces and marketing
I believe a design should not just be defined by what it does, but also by what it chooses *not* to do — simply put, a focused user interface that does a few things very well is superior to a full-featured product that doesn't consistently meet/exceed user expectations.
